We threw $100 down at the new cafe at the bottom of Tunnel Creek. No one showed up until we were on our way out, but I can imagine the smiles… and I’m guessing everyone got their coffee and burritos paid for that entire day.
A few days later, the person in front of me paid my toll at the Bay bridge. So I paid for two cars behind me. I peaked in my rear view mirror to see the reaction. There was fist-pumping, honks & grins all around.
